Pace Beads:
What they are:
A way to keep track of your paces and measure distance.
How to use them:
Stand at your start point
Step with right leg
Step with left leg (Count)
(Where your heel hits the ground... that is one pace from the start point.
Repeat steps 2 & 3, counting on the left step each time.
Measure your pace:
The point from your standing start, to stepping on the left leg (at the heel) is one pace. Â
Measure that distance and you know how long your pace is. Â
Mine is about 4 feet. So, if you do the math... Roughly 84 paces is 100m for me.
(***I was counting to 70 for some reason... Time to re-calculate***)
Every time I count to 84, I move a bead down.
At the end of 9 lower beads... Move a top bead down to know you've gone 1,000m or 1km
