I've had this set of quick draws for a long time, and one day needed a carabiner for something... I took the carabiners off of the dog bone and had it set aside in a gear bag... For some reason, I'm having a hard time tracking it down, so though I'd write about Alpine Quick Draws.

If you need a longer quick draw, or an impromptu one, you can quickly make one with a runner or piece of dyneema sling.

I'll post a video on how to make one, and how to store it on your harness (so it doesn't hang down to your feet).
