A few years ago I was really getting into litter rigging with vertical and horizontal mobility. Without having the proper space to try stuff... I used the doorway of our bedroom and tried some stuff out.
I didn't have the time or space to lug my homemade dummy inside (~160lb life size), hoist it up, mess around, and be able to take it down without dedicating way more time that I would have liked. So I made some lemonade out of lemons. The only patient I had was this tiny little guy, that I had to use a notecard underneath to keep him from falling through the wires.
It took a few years for this to pay off.
But, today, as I was cleaning our bunnies cage... I ran out of these Lysol wipes that really come in handy. So, I took a trip to the store, but first made a quick pit stop at our local comic store.
Like it usually goes, there was someone up at the front counter talking with the person working.
I couldn't help but overhear what they were talking about and it turned out the one guy took really cool pictures of figurines in really cool places.
Somehow, I got into the conversation and it turned into a big show and tell between us three...
The employee (maybe the owner) brought out some hand painted figures which were really cool, and we shared stories.
For some reason, as I was scrolling through some photos to show them, this picture popped up, just as they were talking about a Predator photo shoot. I had a little Arnie photo from my wire shelf litter basket.
Although it was super tiny, it fit right into the conversation and got a good laugh.
Never know where these rope stories will lead you...
